Measuring Ring Size and Necklace Length: The Complete Size Guide
Measure your ring size in 1 minute
No ring sizer at home? Use this method:
- Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string snugly around the base of your finger.
- Mark the point where the paper overlaps and measure the length in millimeters. This is the circumference.
- Already have a ring that fits well? Then measure the inside diameter (edge to edge on the inside) in mm.
Tip: measure at the end of the day (your fingers are slightly thicker then) and measure the finger you're actually going to wear the ring on.
Ring size chart (circumference → size)

Choosing a necklace length
- 35–40 cm / 13.8–15.7 inch (choker): sits close around the neck, lovely with a bare neckline or a V-neck.
- 40–45 cm / 15.7–17.7 inch (princess): the most popular length, just below the collarbone.
- 45–50 cm / 17.7–19.7 inch: all-rounder, falls nicely on the chest and works with almost any outfit.
- 50–60 cm / 19.7–23.6 inch: longer; ideal for layering or with a high-necked top.
Combine two lengths (40 and 50 cm, for example) for a beautiful layered look. Browse all necklaces.
Which necklace for which neckline?
V-neck: a pendant that follows the V. Round neck: a short to medium-length necklace. High neck or turtleneck: a long necklace, or a statement pendant worn over the top.
