Three tips for a beautiful ear party

    Start small

One extra piece already makes a difference. Start with a stud in your second hole and build from big (at the bottom) to small (higher up).

    Mix shapes

Combine a small hoop with a stud and something that sparkles. Different shapes keep it playful, one color keeps it calm.

    Pick one eye-catcher

Let one piece stand out, like a climber, an ear cuff or a sparkling huggie, and keep the rest small and simple.

    Good to know

For the helix, at the top of your ear, you need a piercing in the cartilage. No extra piercings? Choose an ear cuff: it sits around the rim of your ear without a hole. An ear climber simply goes in your first hole.

All earrings are made of premium stainless steel with a gold-tone or silver-tone PVD coating: waterproof and suitable for most people with sensitive skin. Read all about the different types of earrings in our earring guide.

Frequently asked questions about ear parties

    What is an ear party?

With an ear party, also called an ear stack, you wear several small earrings at once, spread across your ear. For example a huggie in your first hole, a stud in your second and an ear cuff halfway along the rim of your ear. Together they form one look.

How many piercings do you need for an ear party?

Two piercings are enough for a lovely ear party. One works too: combine an earring or ear climber in that hole with an ear cuff, which needs no piercing. Two to four pieces per ear usually looks best.

Which earrings should you wear in your second hole?

Choose something smaller than in your first hole: a 3 to 5 mm stud, a small zirconia stud or a slim huggie. That way your look goes from big to small as it moves up your ear.

Can you wear an ear cuff without a piercing?

Yes, an ear cuff doesn't need a piercing. You slide it over the thin rim of your ear and place it where you like it best, usually about halfway.

Can you mix gold and silver in an ear party?

Absolutely. Just repeat both colors, for example a gold-tone hoop and stud with a silver-tone huggie and ear cuff. That makes the mix look intentional. Tap Mix in the ear party builder to see right away how it looks.
