by Noortje van Hilten on Oct 22 2026

Which jewelry trends will be big in 2027? At the spring/summer 2027 shows in London, Milan and Paris in September and October 2026, the message was clear: more and bigger. Think sculptural statement earrings, deliberately mismatched pairs, long beaded necklaces and lots of gold. Lilac and soft candy colors are coming up too, along with florals and little symbols. These are the 8 jewelry trends for 2027 we see coming, from the new earring trends to color, each with Lundholm pieces you can already wear today.

The short answer

These are the jewelry trends for 2027 we see coming:

  • Bigger: sculptural statement earrings, one pair that stands out.
  • Mismatched: two different earrings on purpose, or just one.
  • Long: beaded, pearl and Y-necklaces that fall well below the collarbone.
  • Head-to-toe gold: several gold pieces at once.
  • Wide cuffs and bangles, sometimes worn higher up the arm.
  • Florals, from big flower earrings to tiny daisies.
  • Color: lilac, peach and mint, often through a stone.
  • Charms, animals and symbols with a story of their own.

Where does this forecast come from? We looked at the spring/summer 2027 shows, at the reports on them in fashion media and at trend forecasts from the jewelry industry. On the runway everything is bigger and bolder; in stores and on the street you see the same ideas in a calmer, wearable form. That translation is what we show for each trend. For the timeless basics that stay in style every year, read which jewelry is in style.

1. Earring trend 2027: bigger, sculptural statement earrings

The clearest message from the shows: jewelry is getting big again. Fashion platform nss magazine named maximalist jewelry one of the five key trends of Paris, with large pieces at Valentino, Chanel, Dries Van Noten and Balenciaga, among others, and enormous chrome spheres worn as earrings at Givenchy. In Milan, Prada and Gucci showed oversized earrings, substantial necklaces and chunky rings, and in Paris Schiaparelli went for sculptural, sometimes asymmetric gold earrings.

For everyday wear, translate that into one pair of earrings with a clear shape: puffy, layered or geometric, around 3 centimeters. Keep the rest of your jewelry quiet so the shape gets all the attention. Want to go one step bigger? Look at the 4.5 cm Sylvi or all our statement earrings.

Styling tipBig earrings look best with your hair pulled back and a simple neckline. Often wear your hair up? Read which earrings look best with an updo.

2. Mismatched earrings

In Paris, models strikingly often wore two different earrings, or just one. At Dior, big flower and ribbon shapes hung next to extra-long pearl-and-bead earrings, Dries Van Noten paired oversized earrings in contrasting colors and shapes, and Chloé combined flowers with earrings that climb up the ear. The Zoe Report wrote that almost every major house in Paris got the mismatched earring memo.

The fun part: you don't need anything new, just a little nerve. Pair one statement earring with a small stud, or wear two earrings from the same family in different shapes.

How to keep it balancedKeep one thing the same: the metal color or the style. Big in one ear and small in the other always works. Wearing just one earring? Choose the side where you tuck your hair behind your ear.

3. Long beaded, pearl and Y-necklaces

Necklaces are mainly getting longer in 2027. At Celine, beaded necklaces hung dramatically long over sharp jackets and silk blouses, and Dries Van Noten showed beaded necklaces too. Balmain went for a lariat: a long Y-necklace that comes together at the front. The difference from last summer's beaded necklaces: they are longer and often finer.

A long necklace falls beautifully over a blouse, dress or fine knit and elongates your silhouette. Wear it on its own, or pair it with a short, fine chain for a layered look. The Dahlia in the photo is 95 centimeters long, with tiny beads and flowers in blue, pink, green or orange.

4. Head-to-toe gold

Gold keeps the lead role. In Paris, Saint Laurent showed a collection almost entirely in shades of gold, and Zimmermann went for lots of gold too. At Schiaparelli, the gold jewelry was so big it became the centerpiece of the look, and Dior showed a gold-finish station chain.

You don't have to dress head to toe in gold. Wear several gold pieces at once in the same warm tone: a substantial chain, a bangle and a pair of earrings. Because the color is the same, it stays calm, however big the pieces are.

5. Wide cuffs and bangles, also higher up the arm

Bracelets are getting wider and bolder. Schiaparelli paired a wide Art Deco gold bracelet with a dress full of spirals, and designer Ren Chunmei showed metallic floral arm cuffs in Paris. The bangle worn high on the upper arm was already a micro-trend last summer: Who What Wear spotted it at the Balenciaga couture show and on celebrities such as Zoë Kravitz.

For everyday wear, choose one wide cuff or bangle as your statement and leave the rest of your wrist bare. In summer, with bare arms, you can also wear an open bangle higher up the arm, if it sits comfortably there. Prefer stacking? Pair a wide bangle with one fine bracelet.

More options: the wavy Amira, the organic Runa, the Aster with cubic zirconia and the three-row Tindra. Or browse all combinations in bracelet stacking.

6. Florals, big and small

Flowers bloomed everywhere. In London, Floral Mania was one of the big themes, with florals at Burberry, Erdem and Simone Rocha, among others. In Paris, models at Dior and Chloé wore oversized flower earrings, and Ren Chunmei even turned flowers into arm cuffs.

A flower works big, as a statement like the Camellia, or small and sweet: the hibiscus of the Tropicana in the opening photo, a daisy on your wrist or a flower on your ring.

Also lovely: the Viola hoops with a tortoiseshell-look flower and the tiny Mave flower studs.

7. Color: lilac, peach and mint

After the warm browns of this fall, 2027 gets lighter and fresher. Purple came back in all three fashion cities: lilac bags at Chanel, soft purples at Longchamp, ultraviolet in London at Erdem and others, and violet at Gucci and Bottega Veneta in Milan. Who What Wear also saw soft candy colors in Milan, such as peach, mint and lemon.

In jewelry, color mostly comes through a stone or an accent. Prada and Gucci showed big earrings and rings in rich, saturated tones, and jewelry brand Le Vian names colors from nature and blue gemstones as trends for 2027. Start small: one lilac earring or one ring with a colored stone.

The Lucienne in the opening photo has a lilac ring; the Marlene has a hammered stud with a large lilac ring. For soft green there is the Ella ring with amazonite, for deep blue the Ella ring with lapis lazuli.

8. Charms, animals and little symbols

Jewelry is getting more personal and more playful. In Paris, Hello! Magazine described a "curiosity cabinet" trend: collector pieces such as butterflies at Zimmermann and surreal brooches at Acne Studios. Jewelry brand Le Vian also sees individuality as a trend for 2027: charms, stackable rings and earrings, and animal and symbolic motifs.

Choose something that feels like you: a little bird, an elephant for luck, your zodiac sign or a sun. A small, personal piece is exactly what finishes a simple outfit.

More symbols: the Vivian hummingbird, the shooting star of Seraphine, the Cecily with five hearts or a ring with your own initial, the Quincy. Love celestial motifs? Read jewelry with stars and moons.

Gold or silver in 2027?

Both. Saint Laurent went for gold, but according to FashionUnited, silver shine showed up in even more collections in Paris, for example at Louis Vuitton, Balmain, Lanvin, Isabel Marant and Maison Margiela. Mixing gold and silver is completely fine. Choose one main color and use the other as an accent, or start with a piece that already has both, like the Hera earrings or the Helia necklace. More tips in how to mix gold and silver.
